(cont.) - I have had problems with unpure thoughts that seemed to shoot from every direction of my brain. I couldn't shut them off and they wouldn't stop. Well, I finally and silently convinced myself that I must be insane but JESUS told me otherwise. Jesus told me ROMANS 8 38-39 For I am Persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,(39)nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Never Give Up and I do mean NEVER!
Maybe you struggle with all kinds of thoughts. Thoughts like.. God can't forgive me! Self condemnation (beating yourself up senseless internally) - which will only take you straight to get an asprin due to the migrain headache you are probably giving yourself! Unpure thoughts (bad ones) or telling yourself you have failed or will probably fail God (hogwash)! Don't "back away" from God because you think your too bad OR He is too good for you. God loves you, yes you , Don't ever doubt it! I have realized God does NOT want us to give up, EVER - NO MATTER WHAT! Not on Him and NOT on life! Not for any reason what-so-ever. You have big problems? God is bigger and stronger than anything you could encounter! You just have to believe it and REST in that thought. I think of Gods spirit being as big as the sky and he covers all the ground beneath Him. Why don't you do yourself a favor...Take your hands and envision all of your problems, pains, negative emotions, past hurt, lonelines and heart-break then LIFT YOUR HANDS TO GOD! HE WANTS YOU TO! I had a hard time with this in the beginning because I felt like I was being rude, Don't Worry , It's WHATS RIGHT!
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME !
